Documentary film features Iran poet

Documentary titled ‘The Blue-eyed Boy’ has been screened in Tehran with Iranian artists in attendance.

Documentary film ‘The Blue-eyed Boy’ on the life of Iranian poet Javad Mojabi screens in Tehran with the poet in attendance.

The documentary borrowing its name from the famous novel ‘The Blue-eyed Boy’ written by Mojabi appeared on the screen Thursday in the presence of the poet himself.

The doc features artistic personalities such as writer Mahmoud Dowlatabadi and poet Simin Behbahani.  

Born October 14, 1939 in Qazvin, Javad Mojabi is an Iranian poet, writer, researcher, and literary and art critic. He is one of Iran's most known modern writers and poets publishing over 50 literary works in various forms.

Mojabi has also written hundreds of critical works and essays on art and culture. He began writing poetry in the 1960s, along with short story writing and research on modern painting in Iran.
